Back in December last Google had announced that they will be completely shutting down Google plus on April 2, Google plus was launched in 2011 has yet an another attempt by the Alphabet company to take on Facebook in the Social Media but the platform failed to gain any large traction and is currently in lifeline which will be pulled off on April 2 2019.
The company has now announced that some the features of the platform will be going off line starting next week, the update was announced on their new support page posted on Monday, With the recent move Google has completely stopped new sign ups and current users won’t be able to create new posts, events, pages and communities. Google plus community owners and moderators can download any public data such as author information, content and photos posted in their public community.
At the start of April 2 Google will start taking down account and will delete all consumer data associated with the service, Any of your archived photos and videos in Google plus account will also be deleted hence be sure to download all data before April 2.
