Ubisoft launched its brand new game streaming service uplay at its E3 keynote 2019, the service like Google’s stadia will serves the games over the web without the need to actually download the entire game. Uplay plus will be supporting the the current uplay games library and also brand new upcoming titles including Watch dogs legion, Ghost recon: breakpoint. To make the service more reachable to users ubisoft is providing a free trial for Uplay plus if they register for the offer before august 15th.
Price and launch date
The service will be officially launching in September 2019 and interested users can sign up for the service on Uplay, The service is charged on monthly basis setting the user for $14.99 (around £12 / AU$22) price. While Stadia has already announced the official supported platforms we are still waiting for ubisoft to updated supported platforms and features. Ubisoft has also announced uplay services will also be part of stadia platform we are still yet to see whether platform specific exclusives might ruin game streaming experience specifically like the video on demand platform more details are expected to emerge of this nascent industry.
